Four 阿尔图纳 student-athletes selected to spring All-Sportsmanship Team

Penn State 阿尔图纳 men’s tennis student-athlete Andrew Chronister of York was voted the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference’s Newcomer of the Year and co-Player of the Year, while head coach Megan Stern was chosen as the Coach of the Year, highlighting eight Lions recognized in the league’s postseason awards, which were released on Tuesday, 4月23日.

NORTH BOSTON, N.Y. — The Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference announced its 2024 Spring All-Sportsmanship Team on Wednesday, 6月5日, including a student-athlete from each of Penn State 阿尔图纳’s four spring sports teams.

All teams that compete for an AMCC championship select one member from each of their rosters who displays good sportsmanship throughout the season to be included on the All-Sportsmanship team. These individuals are selected by a vote of their teammates.

The student-athlete selected by each team must consistently demonstrate a high level of ethical conduct, 尊重, and fair play in both practice and competition, whether on the sidelines or as an active competitor. Such sportsmanship shall be evident toward teammates, coaches, opponents, officials, and fans. The player also must serve as a positive representative of school spirit when a spectator at other teams' sporting events.

The four Penn State 阿尔图纳 spring sport student-athletes voted to the AMCC All-Sportsmanship team by their teammates are:

  • Men’s Volleyball: Jared Kish, of Columbus, Ohio
  • Men’s Tennis: Parth Raval, of Mumbai, India
  • Softball: Jordan Krawcion, of Johnstown, 宾西法尼亚
  • Baseball: Harrison Knaupe, of Smyrna, Delaware
